The Baby Hornet: A Brown Hornet clipboard small enough to fit in the palm of your hand OR your shirt pocket. It's a small (3" x 4.5") masonite clipboard that works on the same principle as the regular Brown Hornet and Skeeter.

Keep in mind that my devices are meant to be used regularly for optimal performance, and if they sit unused for long periods, the wax can sometimes harden causing the magic slate to not work. The wax must be soft and somewhat sticky for the device to function properly. Sometimes warming up the board, and using the slate a few times will restore the slate to working order. I've had people contact me saying they ordered a Hornet or Butterfly a year or two years ago, and this is the first time they've tried to use it, and it doesn't work. I'm not surprised. If you leave your car sitting unused in the driveway for a year or two in the driveway and try to start it, you'll probably get the same result.

Like the other "Bugboards," the Baby Hornet incorporates the ultra-sensitive impression surface that immediately resets.

It will take an impression through an index card, by the way, or some business cards.

Why did I make this? Well, a lot of folks just don't like the design of the Skeeter and requested a smaller version of the Brown Hornet. So, here it is. I must admit that it is an innocuous device and I've used it quite a bit since making it. It works great with Post-it notes too.
